This is our Story

The Praise Dance Team started their usual routine, meeting at 7:30am at a designated location in East Coast Park. Most of the participants who were involved were middle-aged women.

The dance started out with some warming up exercises to loosen up the joints and muscles. Controlled breathing was also done to slowly increase the heart rate. As the sun rose and the day became slightly brighter, participants got warmed up and were ready for more difficult steps, with an increase in intensity.

The participants looked as though they were enjoying themselves despite the demands of more technical steps. Short breaks were given in between sets of exercises but these lasted no more than two minutes.

Locals were not the only ones who took part in the dance. Foreigners from Taiwan and even Japan also took part in the dance. After a solid two hours, the participants did some cooling down exercises before ending the dance.

Most went about their daily routines after the dance was over.
