What is Tai Chi ?



Tai Chi Quan or also commonly known as Tai Chi is a form of martial exercise.Tai Chi comprises of different 'family styles'.Some of the most common "Family Styles" of "T'ai-Chi Ch'uan (Taijiquan)" are "Chen Style", "Yang Style" "Wu Style", and "Sun Style" All these "internal" Martial Art styles which fall under the heading of "T'ai-Chi Ch'uan (Taijiquan)" are of relatively recent Chinese origin, seven-hundred-and-fifty years or less.

Where does Tai Chi derived from?

It was formed in mainland China about 2000 years ago.

Getting Started To Tai Chi ?

The attire Tai Chi exercises can be very simple.It would be fine as long as one's movement is not restricted.Flat shoes is recommended for Tai Chi exercise.Most people wears just any shoes that they can get at their convenience.Tai chi exercise mainly is simply to stretch one'sbody, the shoes we wear will make a slight difference.Tai Chi exercise needs a bit more than that. It involves not only the movements of the body, but also the circulation of chi.

When you are doing your Tai Chi, you draw the chi from around you — including the earth. If you wear a foot wear that insulate your feet from the earth, you compromise an important source of chi to make your ti chi more effective.In this case, it will not be ‘any shoes will do’ for your tai chi exercises.Take care of the materials of the soles.
